Results of the HiperLAM project were presented during the SPIE Photonics West 2020 eventby Ionna Zergioti of NTUA. The presentation entitled "High speed laser printing and sintering of flexible RFID antennas and fingerprint sensors" was made during the Laser Processing of Polymers session of the Laser Applications in Microelectronic and Optoelectronic Manufacturing XXV conference.

Results of the HiperLAM project were showcased at the 45th International Conference on Micro & Nano Engineering which took place in Rhodes, Greece September 23rd-26th. This is the core international conference focusing on micro/nanofabrication and manufacturing techniques, as well as application of the fabricated micro/nanostructures, devices and microsystems into electronics, photonics, energy, environment, chemistry and life sciences. HiperLAM was present at the International Conference on Laser Ablation (COLA) 2019. COLA is the premier conference in the filed of laser ablation and applications and brings together scientists, end-users and industry to review state-of-the-art and next-generation laser ablation technologies. This year, Oxford Laser attended the conference in Maui, Hawaii, USA and presented a poster on HiperLAM results. Read more.

HiperLAM's Work Package 1 leader, Ioanna Zergioti of NTUA gave an invited talk at the 3rd International Conference on Applied Surface Science which took place in Pisa, Italy on 17th - 20th of June 2019. This conference is organised by the journal of Applied Surface Science and provides a forum for researchers in all areas of applied surface science to present their work. HiperLAM attended the IDTechEx Exhibition on the 10th - 11th April in Berlin, Germany. The project hosted a workshop, installed an exhibition stand and even won an award for best poster!

This major event is hosted by Laser Systems Europe in Stuttgart. HiperLAM was represented by Modus Research and Innovation and featured on Thursday 7th June at the Lasers in Action Forum in the main Exhibition Hall. Read more.

Ioanna Zergioti of NTUA was an invited keynote speaker at the 27th International Conference on Advanced Laser Technologies (ALT) which took place in Prague, Czech Republic from 15th-20th September 2019. The ALT'19 brought together presentations on fundamental as well as engineering aspects of innovative laser technologies along with their scientific and hi-tech industrial applications. Ioanna presented the results of the HiperLAM project in her talk titled “Laser Induced Forward Transfer: an advanced additive manufacturing tools". Read more.

The HiperLAM project was represented at the European Congress and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Process (EUROMAT) in Stockholm, Sweden on 1st - 5th September 2019. Project partner NTUA presented both a talk and presented a poster at this meeting which is a premier international congress in the field of materials science and technology in Europe. Read more.

HiperLAM partners NTUA attended the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) in May 2019. This conference, which took place in Nice, France, highlighted the latest advances in materials research at an international level, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research in both fundamental and applied areas. Ioanna Zergioti presented her poster "Laser Induced Forward Transfer of silver nano-inks for high resolution flexible interconnections: the effect of electromigration". The oral presentation entitled: “Laser printing of silver nanoparticle inks: Simulation and high speed visualization of the jet dynamics”, received the 3rd best oral presentation at the Closing/Award Ceremony of the FEMS Junior EUROMAT 2018 Conference.
